Why the Academy
How professionals judge quantitative evidence, with real decisions, not trivia.
Overfitting, look-ahead, selection bias and flattering metrics, with checks that catch them.
50 explained interview questions in every level, open from day one.
Timed examinations and a manually reviewed final project lead to the certificate.
Questions
A three-level program in applied quantitative research. Learn to interpret evidence, test hypotheses, evaluate strategies and models, and defend research decisions through interactive modules, exercises, examinations, and a final applied project.
Students, aspiring quantitative researchers, traders, investment and portfolio analysts, and finance professionals who want stronger research reasoning.
No programming is required for the core curriculum or final research report. Every level includes separate, optional mathematics, descriptive-statistics, and Python tracks, accessible at any time. These electives develop additional skills without affecting core examination eligibility.
The emphasis is research as it is practiced: interpreting uncertain evidence, identifying methodological weaknesses, understanding implementation constraints, and making defensible decisions. Theory is connected to worked examples and realistic research cases.
Familiarity with basic arithmetic, percentages, and algebra is useful. The Level I mathematics elective develops mathematical foundations and linear algebra; later electives cover Calculus I–III and further quantitative foundations.
Yes. In every level, the orientation (Module 0) and Module 1 are free to read without an account, with their explanations, figures, examples and quick checks. The first two sections of each elective are free as well.
On purpose. We are trying to make quantitative research knowledge accessible to students and professionals everywhere, not only to those who can pay for expensive programs. The low price is a choice about access, not a sign of lighter content: every level has its full modules, examinations and interview preparation.
$9.99 USD per level, or $24.99 USD for all three levels together. Buying individually totals $29.97; the complete program saves $4.98. Prices are kept low deliberately, to make quantitative research education accessible.
If you are new to the Academy, start with Level I or take the complete program. Level II can be bought once you are enrolled in Level I, and Level III once you are enrolled in Level II. Buying a later level never bypasses the examination order.
No. Choose individual levels as you progress, or the complete program at the bundle price. Either way, the examinations follow the same order.
Yes. Examinations and the Level III final project evaluation are included, with no additional assessment fees.
Level II is open to students enrolled in Level I, and Level III to students enrolled in Level II; the complete program includes all three. Study is flexible: you can work through any level you own at your own pace. Examinations are not: each examination after Level I requires a pass in the previous level, and the certificate requires all three passes and the final project.
No. It is a single payment per level, or one payment for the complete program, processed securely by Stripe. You are charged in USD, EUR or GBP depending on your location; other currencies are converted by Stripe at checkout.
Yes. Your enrolled levels stay available, including curriculum updates. A recorded examination pass remains valid when new sections or modules are added; you do not lose your pass or have to repeat a completed examination.
Yes. Study the interactive sections in your browser, work through exercises, prepare for interviews, and take the assessments online. The code exercises inside sections run in your browser; the optional Python workshop tasks run in your own Python environment with the supplied setup instructions.
Each level opens with a free orientation (Module 0), followed by ten modules in Level I, thirteen in Level II and fourteen in Level III: thirty-seven examined modules in total. Every module is made of sections, and every section has an explanation, a worked example, extended theory with figures, and quick checks. Each level also has its own mathematics, descriptive-statistics, and Python electives.
Level I develops medians, modes, range, quartiles, percentiles, frequency tables, and boxplots. Level II adds weighted summaries, robust location and scale, pooled dispersion, conditional comparisons, and missing-data diagnostics. Level III covers quantile shape, distribution distances, joint tails, empirical downside summaries, and multivariate diagnostics. Each is a compact optional lab with worked examples and immediate-feedback exercises, separate from the longer mathematics track and the core examination.
Multiple-choice checks, numerical interpretation, evidence tables and charts, short analytical problems, research scenarios, and written self-review activities. Answers include explanations so you can learn from both correct and incorrect responses.
Each section viewed and each quick check answered contributes to completion. A module is complete when you have viewed its sections and answered their checks. Completion measures study activity, not examination performance.
Yes. Core study, mathematics, descriptive statistics, and Python each have an independent completion percentage at every level. Elective progress does not change your core result or examination eligibility.
Browser study progress and choice answers are stored on the device you use. Signed-in account records are separate and synchronize across devices after saving is confirmed. Written drafts and code edits should be copied before you leave their page.
Viewing sections and answering checks increases study completion. An official examination pass requires the passing score. Certification also requires the manually assessed Level III project. Reaching 100% study completion does not by itself award a pass or certificate.
Yes. Every section is interactive, with worked examples, mathematical notation, tables, figures, and immediate-feedback checks. There is nothing to download.
These are the mistakes and misleading interpretations that can invalidate research: data leakage, selection bias, overfitting, unsuitable benchmarks, incorrect denominators, weak validation, and confusing statistical significance with economic value.
Whenever you feel ready after enrolling in the level. The Level II and Level III examinations also require a pass in the previous level's examination. Working through the modules first is the best preparation, but it is not a requirement.
Each level examination contains 40 multiple-choice questions covering the core concepts from that level.
75%, which is at least 30 correct answers out of 40.
The standard duration is 90 minutes. Before starting, you can select 180-minute extended timing or an untimed accessibility option. Timed deadlines continue during interruptions.
Yes. Your first answer is recorded and locked, then you receive correct/incorrect feedback with an explanation. Use this reasoning to identify what to revisit before your next assessment.
You have one initial attempt and three standard retakes. If you need a fourth retake, request Quant Atlas guidance before an additional attempt is authorized.
Resume the same saved attempt and check which answers were recorded. Contact Academy support with the attempt reference if a technical failure affects your assessment. Verified incidents can be reviewed without deleting the assessment history.
No. Section checks, the practice assessment, and interview drills help you prepare. Examination progression depends on passing the official level examination; the certificate also requires the final project.
Yes. Prepare a concise applied research report that interprets evidence, identifies methodological weaknesses, evaluates risk and economics, and supports a defensible recommendation. Quant Atlas reviews the project manually.
No. The supplied research dossier can be evaluated using careful reasoning and a calculator or spreadsheet. Clear methodology, sound interpretation, and justified conclusions matter more than software complexity.
Prepare one PDF of 3 MB or less. The Level III project page provides the research dossier, report questions, evaluation rubric, originality requirements, and submission guidance.
Please allow up to 14 calendar days from successful submission for manual grading.
Pass the official examinations for Levels I, II, and III, and pass the manually evaluated Level III project. Purchasing the program or completing its practice exercises alone does not earn the certificate.
The Certificate in Applied Quantitative Research is a private, non-accredited educational certificate issued by Quant Atlas Academy. It is not a university degree, regulatory license, or independently accredited professional qualification.
Yes. Successful graduates may list the Certificate in Applied Quantitative Research under professional development or certifications, with Quant Atlas Academy as the issuer, and discuss their assessed research work in interviews.
No. It recognizes educational achievement and assessed research reasoning. Employment depends on your broader skills, experience, and the requirements of the role; the certificate is not a professional license or employment guarantee.
Graduates who complete all certification requirements receive one complimentary month of Quant Atlas Markets Ultimate. This additional graduate benefit is separate from Academy enrollment and subject to its eligibility and activation terms.
Fifty per level, for 150 across the program. Interview preparation is open from the day you enroll, independently of the examination, so you can return to it throughout your study.
Yes. The workshops include model responses, explanatory reasoning, follow-up questions, common weak interpretations, and immediate-feedback choice practice. Written and spoken responses use guided self-review.
The core interview preparation focuses on conceptual and applied quantitative research. Optional Python tracks develop programming, data analysis, and machine-learning foundations, but do not replace role-specific coding-interview preparation.
